This document also explains choices about how we use information about you. Choices include how to object to certain uses of information about you and how to access and update certain information about you. If you do not agree with this policy, do not access or use our Services and do not interact with any other aspect of our business.

1 – What information is collected about you:

We collect information about you when you provide it to us, through the contact form, newsletter subscription, website registration, your purchases, when you use our services, and when other sources provide it to us, as described below.

The information you provide to us

We collect information about you when you provide it to us through registration or by using our services.

Account and Profile: We collect information about you when you register an account to participate in one of the forums, comment on articles on a site, subscribe to the reserved area, or use other services on our site that require registration. The minimum required data is your email address, a username, and a password; sometimes, depending on the required service, other data may be mandatory (for example, if you place an order, we may need your address or billing information). We keep a record of the actions you perform and your preferences to use the services more comfortably.

Contributions to sites: If you contribute to sites with posts on forums or comments, we keep a record of your posts and comments and all related information, such as the date they were posted and the internet address (IP) they came from.

Information automatically collected when using the services

We collect information about you when you use our services, including browsing our websites and performing certain actions within the Services.

Using the Services: We keep track of some information about you when you visit and interact with any of our services, such as browsing information: the internet address (IP) that made the request, date and time, requested page, information about your device, operating system, browser used, referral page, geographic location of the IP address, screen used, sequence of pages visited, searches made, and generally the ways in which you interact with the services. These are statistical analyses, but don’t worry, the data is completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to you.

Device and Connection Information: We collect information about the computer, phone, tablet or other devices that you use to access the Services. This device information includes the type of connection and settings when you install, access, update, or use its services. We also collect information through the device on the operating system, type of browser, IP address, URL of referring/exit pages, device identifiers, and crash data. We use your IP address to approximate your geographic location. The amount of this information that we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: Rent Classica

uses cookies and other tracking technologies (such as web beacons, device identifiers, and pixels) to provide functionality and to recognize users across different services and devices. Information we receive from other sources

Other services that point to your account: We receive information about you when you choose to integrate or link a third-party service to our services. For example, when you use login via Google or Facebook, we receive some data about you from these companies as indicated in the access request presented to you at the time of connection. This data usually includes your email address, often your name and surname, and sometimes other data.

2 – How we use the collected information

How we use the collected information depends in part on the services used, how they are used, and any preferences you have communicated to us. Below are the specific purposes for which we use the information collected about you.

To provide the Services and personalize your experience: We use information about you to provide you with the Services you request, including making purchases, contributing to sites with discussions and content. For example, we use the name and image you provide in your account to identify you to other users of the service, in forums or comments (avatar).

To communicate with you about the Services: We use contact information to send communications via email, such as service communications regarding your purchases or registration. Only with your explicit authorization can we use your email address to send you informational newsletters or commercial communications; you can withdraw this authorization at any time through the website, in your account, or at the bottom of the marketing emails we send you (unsubscribe link to the newsletter).

Customer support: We use your data to resolve technical issues, respond to support requests, analyze incident information, and repair and improve services.

For security: We use information about you and your use of the service to verify accounts and activity, monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity, and detect violations of service policies.

With your consent: We use information about you where you have given consent to do so for a specific purpose not listed above. For example, we may publish customer testimonials or stories to promote services with your permission.

Legal bases for processing: We collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable laws. The legal bases depend on the services used and how they are used. This means that we collect and use information only when we need it to provide services, provide customer support and personalized features, and protect the security of services; when there is a legitimate interest satisfied (where your data protection interests do not override), such as for research and development, marketing and promoting services, and protecting our legal rights and interests; when you have given explicit consent to do so for a specific purpose; when we need to process data to fulfill a legal obligation.

4 – How we store and keep collected information secure

Storage and security of information

We use hosting service providers in European countries to host the collected information and employ technical measures to protect the data.

We implement safeguard measures aimed at protecting your information, but no security system is impenetrable, and due to the intrinsic nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that the data, during transmission over the Internet or during storage on our systems or in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others. However, we promise to do everything possible.

If you use our Services, the responsibility for ensuring the storage and access to the information you send to our sites is yours and not ours. We recommend, for example, using a specific password for our site, not used on other company’s services; not leaving it in view or easily accessible by others; not using easily guessed words or acronyms; using numbers and punctuation marks and not just alphabetical letters.

How long we keep information

The length of time we keep the information collected about you depends on the type of information, as described in more detail below. After that period, we may delete or anonymize your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will store it securely and isolated from any further use until deletion is possible.

Account information: We keep information related to the account for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to reactivate the services. We also keep some of your information if necessary to fulfill our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, to support business operations, and to continue to develop and improve our services. Where we reserve the right to keep information for service improvement and development, we take measures to eliminate information that directly identifies you, and we only use the information to discover collective insights about the use of our services, not to specifically analyze personal characteristics about you.

Marketing information: If you choose to receive marketing email messages from us, we keep information about marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the date of last expressed interest in our services.
